Joseph Smietanski

Joseph Smietanski

Interactive Designer and Art Director

From the time he was six or seven years old, Joseph was drawing cars on his parents' Mac. He ultimately won second place in a Motor Trend contest to design a car for 2050. His futuristic turbine power, hydrogen powered entry even earned a spot in a traveling exhibition. He considers car design as "the ultimate expression of design." Joseph picked up his first copy of Photoshop as a hobby, and that led him to getting an associate's degree from Tulsa Community College in Web design. After being a Web designer for six years, a professional graphic designer for nine, he always wanted to work in an agency. Luckily, he found AcrobatAnt on Craig's List (who knew some of those job openings were for real?). As a teen, he lived in Belgium for four years, where he says he should have learned French. The Ants count on Joseph to answer the token computer hardware/software question in the daily trivia game. And he always comes through, because geeks rule.
